• Account data — username, password hash (never the plaintext password), and login timestamps for registered readers and admins.
• Analytics — basic page-view + reading-session data (no third-party trackers unless explicitly enabled and consented to via the cookie banner).
• IP + user-agent — recorded on submissions and login attempts for abuse prevention; not shared with third parties.

What we don't collect

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.
• Anonymous-tip submissions explicitly null out IP and user-agent server-side.

Your rights

• Request a copy of your data: contact the operator.
• Request deletion: subscribers can unsubscribe; reader accounts can be deleted on request.
• Object to processing: stop using the site.
